John Deere Archival and Historical Expert Joins the Aumann Vintage Power Team

The Aumann Vintage Power team welcomes Brian Holst to their expanding team of agricultural history experts.  Brian had a successful 19 year run as the Historical Equipment Manager for John Deere.  His role there included the preservation and acquisition of historically significant items from the John Deere Company.  He focused on milestone items, prototypes, futuristic products but the main focus was to preserve significant items of the company’s past.

Brian also managed the famous John Deere Collectors Center located in Moline, IL as well as the John Deere Historic Site in Grand Detour, IL.  Along with his passion for agricultural history and love of preserving the past, there is no doubt that Brian will bring a wealth of knowledge and valuable experience to the Aumann team.

Brian will be assisting with project management and leveraging his vast knowledge of not only John Deere equipment, but late model antique tractors of all brands from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’ and 80’s.

“We’re very excited to welcome Brian to our team”, says Kurt Aumann, CEO & President of Aumann Auctions.

“We’ve known him for many years and worked with him conducting auctions at the John Deere Collector Center.  His integrity and values fit perfectly with our company and we’re looking forward to Brian helping us with further expansion and promotion of the hobby”, Kurt said.
