The Fastest Tractor in the World!

What is the world’s fastest tractor?

In 1934 it was the Allis-Chalmers Model U. The record setting speed of 65.45 miles per hour was set by Ab Jenkins, a speed record that went unchallenged for 81 years. There were 34 of these tractors built with a special transmission for speed. Allis-Chalmers is known as the first company to put tires on it’s farm tractors. To be another first in racing, Allis-Chalmers partnered with Firestone tire and Pennzoil to showcase what all three could do.
