Second installment preview conducted by Aumann Auctions, Inc.

Online-only auction takes place June 30, auctions begin closing at 6 p.m. An open house will be held June 25 through 27 at the 30th Annual Hoosier Flywheeler show in Peru, Indiana — 3474 West 200 North Peru, Indiana, 46970.

The auction will feature over 100 gas engines, antiques, parts and more. Brands for sale include Otto, Cook, Lambert, Brown-Cochran, Buckeye, Crossley, Hornsby, Domestic, Fairbanks, International, New Way and others.

Pickup purchases on July 10 and 11 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

The Gemmer engine

Built in Marion, Indiana, these horizontal style engines were built from 4hp to 35hp sizes. This rare engine is in exceptional original condition and is complete with a friction driven generator.

5hp Otto

The engine design seen here was introduced by Otto in 1893 at the World’s Columbian Exposition. This engine is mounted on a large cart with a cooling tank.

3hp pan-cooled Domestic

Domestic’s Regular line of engines were mounted on extended carts that allowed for a water tank behind the engine. Water is circulated using a belt drive pump just behind the engine. This engine is in exceptional original condition.

 



 

Brown-Cochran 6hp engine

In 1902, the Brown-Cochran Co. was formed following the merger of Brown Gas Engine and the Cochran Co. There are fewer than 20 engines of various sizes that are known to exist.

6hp IHC hopper-cooled Mogul

The Mogul line was one of International Harvester’s famous lines of engines and tractors. This 6hp is in exceptional, original condition and is even still mounted to its original wood skid.

Canada Producer engine

Built in Barrie, Ontario, the company built both stationary engines along with marine engines. This engine features a single flywheel with an integral generator. It also has a sideshaft with a vertical flyball governor.
