1940 – Cultivating Cotton
A fleet of Farmall tractors cultivating cotton August 1940 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Tractors have taken the place of the mule and the plow on Hopson Plantation where day labor is used almost exclusively, displacing the old tenants on the place.
