About this Episode

Host Brian Baxter interviewed John Kinzenbaw, founder of Kinze and classic tractor collector. John shares the story of his company and the history of one of his favorite classic tractors, his 1970 John Deere 4520.

The 4520 was build from 1969 to 1970 with a total production of 7,894. They have a John Deere 6-cylinder, 404 cubic-inch, turbocharged diesel engine that can do 111 horsepower on the drawbar and 123 horsepower on the PTO. Back in 1972 this tractor would have cost you $11,600 US dollars or about $71,000 US dollars in 2019.
