The Massey Harris Model GP Was The Company's First Attempt At Building A Four Wheel Drive Tractor

Classic Stories Run Time: 00:04:47

About this Episode

Massey Harris introduced their first four-wheel-drive tractor in 1930 and production continued until 1936. The tractor has a Hercules 3.7 liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine which can do 15 horsepower on the drawbar. About 3,000 of these tractors were built and would have cost you $1,000 US Dollars in the 1930s or about $14,500 in 2018 US Dollars. Rob Sample of Pennsylvania shares his passion for Massey Harris Tractors and the story of his four-wheel-drive Massey Harris GP.
