The Rumely Do All is 2 Tractor in One! - The "Convertible" Tractor
About this Episode
The Rumely DoAll, built from 1928 to 1931, was one of the few convertible tractors, able to switch between a standard tread and a cultivator. Despite their unique design, they weren’t a hit with farmers. Maybe part of the downfall of the DoAll was that it was late to the market.
By 1927 row crops like the Farmall Regular had emerged as the new standards for farm tractors. Production ended on the DoAll when Allis-Chalmers acquired Advance Rumely in 1931. Classic Tractor Fever caught up with Gerald Gregory who brought his 1928 DoAll all the way from the UK to sell on the Aumann Vintage Power Pre-30 Auction.
