Kevin Crile shares the story on his 1966 John Deere Model 60. This little tractors was the first built specifically for Urban areas. It’s powered by a Tecumseh 1-cylinder, air-cooled gasoline engine rated at 6 horsepower. It has a 3 speed Peerless transmission with a high and low range. It also had the added benefit of having battery electric start or manual pull start. The Model 60 was built from 1966 to 1969.
