Check out this custom built Ford 8N Funk Conversion

Classic Stories Run Time: 00:06:02

About this Episode

Curtis from the Orlando, Florida area has an extreme passion for classic Ford tractors. His favorite ford is his heavily modified 8N which has several unique features. Curtis removed the original engine and replaced it with a Ford V8 engine similar to the Funk Conversions from the same time period. This increased the horsepower from about 30 to 85 horsepower. Other conversions to his tractors include a modified exhaust system, front wheel assist conversion, a Sherman transmission which has 12 forward gears and three reverse gears and duals on the rear wheels. Curtis’ tractor is a 1952 model, the last production year for the 8N Ford.
